Not long after pledging to clean up the environment of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, Gov. Deval Patrick is now supporting the selection of Parsons Brinckerhoff for the MBTA’s Green Line extension. PB was a key designer in the corrupt Big Dig project. So is Patrick really cleaning up the environment of the MBTA?

Yes, the recent support of PB has no bearing on his attempt to clean up the MBTA.
No, Patrick should go out of his way to avoid supporting anyone behind the Big Dig project.
Let’s see how this Green Line extension project works out before applauding or criticizing the move.
