Portland Cement Association (PCA)
Since its founding in 1916, the Portland Cement Association has had the same mission: "Improve and expand the uses of portland cement and concrete."
Where cement and concrete are concerned, so is the Portland Cement Association: in manufacturing, in raising the quality of construction, in improving our product and its uses, in contributing to a better environment. In practice, this mandate means well-rounded programs of market development, education, research, technical services, and government affairs on behalf of PCA members-cement companies in the United States and Canada.

APA Mission Statement:
The Asphalt Pavement Alliance’s mission is to further the use and quality of Hot Mix Asphalt pavements. The Alliance will accomplish this through research, technology transfer, engineering, education and innovation.
The Asphalt Pavement Alliance is a coalition of the Asphalt Institute, the National Asphalt Pavement Association, and the State Asphalt Pavement Associations.

American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA)
ATSSA is the American Traffic Safety Services Association, an international trade association located in Fredericksburg, VA. Since 1969, ATSSA has represented companies and individuals in the traffic control and roadway safety industry. Over 1,800 ATSSA members provide the majority of roadway safety features, services and materials used on our nation's roadways. These include guardrails, striping, signage, lighting, drums, cones and barricades.
ATSSA's Core Purpose is: To Advance Roadway Safety
ATSSA's 3-5 Year Goals are:
- ATSSA will be the recognized public policy advocate for the advancement of roadway safety.
- ATSSA will be our industry's primary resource for knowledge exchange, education, and training.
- ATSSA will be the recognized voice and authority on roadway safety.

American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA)
From its inception, ARTBA took a very active role in lobbying for the interests of the transportation construction industry.
Today, the industry ARTBA represents generates more than $200 billion in U.S. economic activity annually and sustains the employment of 2.2 million Americans. ARTBA advocates strong federal investment in the nation’s transportation infrastructure to meet public needs and demand.
ARTBA is a full-service association with more than 5,000 members. It conducts conferences, publishes a newsletter, a magazine, educational materials, and maintains a comprehensive Internet website (www.artba.org). ARTBA has a number of standing committees, policy advisory councils and professional development sections that work on issues to promote the effectiveness and efficiency of the transportation construction industry. It also conducts training programs and endorses a comprehensive business insurance program.

Our mission is to make portland cement concrete the material of choice for airport, highway, industrial, street and local road pavements.
ACPA is the premier national association representing concrete pavement contractors, cement companies, equipment and material manufacturers and suppliers. We are organized to address common needs, solve common problems, and accomplish goals related to research, market development, local promotion, design, construction and best practices of portland cement concrete pavements.
