Volvo wheel-mounted paver

Volvo’s PF6170 wheel-mounted paver has 205 hp with a suspension design using two drive wheels, but can be configured for all-wheel drive. Torque is optimized based on hopper load. The auger system is independent of the conveyor system, with each of the augers and conveyor drives using sensors. The conveyor system has chains automatically tensioned for performance and less downtime. Reversible augers and conveyors are optional. Hopper capacity of 14.38 tons gives a production rate of 820 tph.
