Designed for smaller jobs, the DD25 and DD25W from Volvo compact at higher frequencies (3,300 to 4,000 vpm), allowing finer operation and higher travel speeds. Frequency can be adjusted depending on job requirements via the engine throttle lever. The DD25’s drums are 39.7 in. wide, while the DD25W boasts 47.2-in. drums. The front and rear drums on both models have a pressurized water system that eliminates clogging from asphalt pickup. A switch in the operator’s seat shuts down the engine and applies the brakes if the operator leaves the seat.
