Terex FD4000

June 25, 2013

Running cleaner than ever before, today’s Terex FD4000 front discharge mixer offers two 2013 EPA engine options with power ratings from 350 to 450 hp (261- to 336-kW). Its 11-cu yd (8.4-cubic meter) mixer is constructed with hardened abrasion-resistant steel for superior wear resistance. More than 100 design improvements increase productivity, reliability and durability. Refinements to the steering and front suspension significantly reduce turn radius while adding 8.5-in. (21.6-cm) of legroom inside the cab. New air and electrical systems boost truck performance, while a 127 part-count reduction in the brake/air system increases system reliability. Standard, Performance and Premium trim line packages are available to meet the customer’s needs.
