The prefabricated Mabey Bridge in Trementina, N.M. spans an 80-ft section of arroyo, which floods out during the summer and is covered with snow in winter, making travel difficult for motorists in the region. Since the six-month bridge installation project was completed, however, the community has been able to safely travel in this area.
