Webinar overview:

With nearly one out of every three of the nation’s bridges rated structurally deficient, contractors need to consider alternative technology to repair bridge decks efficiently. Hydrodemolition robots present a fast, safe and profitable bridge rehabilitation method. The technique allows contractors to repair bridges more quickly and for a fraction of the cost of what it would take to replace them. The robots’ versatility also allows for quick and simple concrete removal from bridge pillars and beams, even underwater.

Join Aquajet Systems AB to learn how you can use hydrodemolition robots on your road and bridge projects. Peter Bigwood, vice president of sales and marketing for Aquajet's North American subsidiary, and Shawn Kirkpatrick, Aquajet service and application specialist, will describe the need for bridge repair in the United States and how hydrodemolition techniques are an effective restoration method.

Learn how a hydrodemolition robot uses a jet of water as powerful as 40,000 psi to break apart solid or deteriorated concrete. The presentation will walk through benefits of the technique, including how the machines are versatile, work quickly and allow a smaller crew to finish a job. Remote-controlled hydrodemolition keeps operators out of harm's way and is less disruptive than some other concrete removal methods. The technique also doesn't harm rebar or cause microfracturing.

Hear about hydrodemolition robots' key technologies and available attachments. The presentation will explain how robots produce better results and are safer than hand lances. Finally, see real-world examples of how contractors used hydrodemolition robots to finish jobs better, faster and with fewer workers.
