Caterpillar of Peoria, Ill., offers a new hydraulic excavator, the 325C LCR, featuring a compact swing radius for high productivity in tight areas. The 325C LCR (Circle 906) rotates with a minimal amount of counterweight extending past the tracks, yet its power and weight enable the excavator to perform well in applications where space is not a factor. The tail swing radius of the hydraulic excavator is only 6 ft 3 in., with an operating weight of 78,044 lb. The powerful Cat 3126B ATTAC engine with HEUI fuel system powers the excavator, with a net power of 188 hp.
