Campbell Scientific’s, Logan, Utah, CR3000 Micrologger retains the versatility of its predecessor, the CR23X, yet provides increased memory, faster processing, more measurement channels and more telemetry options. The CR3000 is housed in a portable, self-contained package that consists of measurement and control electronics, communication ports, keyboard, graphical or eight-line numeric display, 5V or 12V power supply and a peripheral port for a CompactFlash card. Having more options allows for flexibility of retrieving and analyzing data for industrial applications. The design of the CR3000 allows flexibility in long-term, unattended monitoring at remote sites or within network applications. The datalogger uses minimal power from sources such as rechargeable batteries, vehicle batteries, AC power or solar panels. The CR3000 stores approximately 4 MB of data values internally and with the CFM100 module and a CompactFlash card, stores up to 2 GB externally.
