As North America’s crane rental leader, ALL offers unmatched experience and the largest, most technologically advanced fleet. Setting the huge steel segments across a busy street, ending 60 ft high at the entrance to the new wing, was a challenge because of the tight clearances between the crane, the building, and the bridge. The crane had to be positioned close to the bridge to achieve the desired operating radius of 79 ft. The 7550, equipped with 52-ft main boom, 101-ft luffing jib, and 264,500 lbs of counterweight, lifted an estimated total 200 tons of steel.
