    John Deere’s Interim Tier IV (IT4) engine option for the 744K 4WD loader gives road and bridge contractors the first equipment over 175 hp to meet IT4 emissions regulations. Its John Deere PowerTech 9-L IT4 diesel engine was certified by the EPA in March 2010 and uses cooled exhaust-gas recirculation technology.
