RAPTOR RUMBLE STRIP HANDLING MACHINE
For over 35 years, PSS has worked to design and manufacture innovative safety products that protect workers, drivers and pedestrians while in the roadway. One of our greatest innovations is the RoadQuake Safety System of temporary portable rumble strips (TPRS) and the accessories that help with transportation, deployment and retrieval. While RoadQuake TPRS are the main component of this safety system, the easiest and safest way to transport, deploy, and retrieve RoadQuake strips is with the RAPTOR Rumble Strip Handling Machine.
RAPTOR IMPROVES WORK ZONE SAFETY
RAPTOR is the safest and most efficient way to deploy and retrieve RoadQuake TPRS. It protects workers by keeping them out of live traffic and away from moving vehicles. RAPTOR allows for a one person operation with the driver using a simple remote control to deploy and retrieve RoadQuake strips all from the safety of the cab. Users are also able to reduce the risk of superficial injuries that could be caused by lifting objects like RoadQuake.
TRANSPORT, REALIGN, RETRIEVE & DEPLOY
RAPTOR transports, deploys, realigns, and retrieves RoadQuake 2F TPRS in work zones and provides an extra level of protection to workers. This rumble strip handling machine stores and transports up to 12 strips at a time, enough for (4) 3-strip arrays. RAPTOR is fast and is able to deploy a 3-strip array in 90 seconds and retrieve the strips in under 2.5 minutes. Once the strips are deployed, it can easily realign any units that may become skewed over time.
