Commenting on the acquisition, John Patterson, managing director and CEO of the JCB Group, said, “There is a great deal of synergy between JCB and Vibromax. The Vibromax products expand JCB’s all-important construction equipment range and we are very excited about the growth potential for the future.

“Vibrmax has been privately owned with a culture very similar to JCB and an understanding of our values. The Vibromax product range is extremely complementary to JCB’s machine line-up.”

The Vibromax business has been a major force in the design, manufacture and worldwide distribution of quality compaction equipment for over 65 years. The factory produces a broad range of high quality products, manufactured in accordance with DIN ISO 9001, including a full line of single drum soil compactors, vibratory tandem rollers and trench rollers and light equipment such as tampers and plate compactors, with approximately 2,500 machines manufactured annually.
