Attendance figures for the first day of the largest trade show in the western hemisphere--ConExpo-Con/Agg--reached 100,155 and manufactures appeared optimistic about activity numbers.
Gehl Co. announced what it considered a major move on Wednesday. The West Bend, Wisc.-based manufacturer has been appointed the exclusive distributor for Kramer wheel loader products in North and South America and Australia. Gehl will market the products under the Gehl and Mustang brand names.
"Our portfolio of loaders now includes 23 unique models representing all modes of loader operation," said Gehl Chairman, President and CEO William Gehl. "With this kind of product line-up, our Gehl and Mustang dealers are now positioned to serve their customers with a full range of compact construction equipment."
Gehl added the all-wheel steer loader picks up where skid loaders stop, by offering higher tipping loads, extended dump heights and excellent operator comfort and visibility.
The Kramer line also offers three telescopic models.
