Ken Snover has been named vice president of expositions for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), responsible for the association's expositions, education and membership departments.

This includes overseeing AEM's trade show activities as co-owner and co-producer of the ConExpo-Con/Agg international construction and construction materials exposition and owner and producer of the ICUEE International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition.

"Ken's industry expertise, professional knowledge and trade show experience will help AEM continue to build on the successful record of ConExpo-Con/Agg, ICUEE and its other trade show ventures," stated AEM President Dennis Slater. "He is also a valuable addition to our management team as AEM expands its industry educational opportunities and membership development programs."
Prior to joining AEM, Snover served 24 years with Ingersoll-Rand Co., Annandale, N.J., most recently as manager of marketing communications responsible for all marketing communications for I-R's Infrastructure Development sector, including trade shows, customer relationship management and new product launches.

Snover actively participated in a number of AEM and ConExpo-Con/Agg planning groups as an I-R Co. representative, including chairman of the AEM Marketing Council, member of the Joint Managing Board for the 2002 and 2005 ConExpo-Con/Agg expositions and chairman of the ConExpo-Con/Agg 2002 Exhibit Space and Rules Committee.

He also served as chairman of the American Rental Association Exhibition Advisory Board and a member of the MinExpo Exhibitors Advisory Board.
