At every level of the construction industry, the quality, durability and reliability of materials and equipment are paramount. With a history that dates back to 1871, the Ingersoll Rand brand has been associated with these values for more than 135 years.
This heritage underpins the Ingersoll Rand Construction Technologies sector, which offers a new focus for customers in all areas of construction from residential and commercial building to civil engineering for roads, water and power and associated industries such as equipment rental, quarrying, oil and gas, and utilities.
Through new innovation, new market entries and strategic acquisitions, Construction Technologies aims to provide an expanding portfolio of equipment solutions, many of which will be on show at the Bauma 2007 Exhibition, for both contractors and equipment-rental customers in this very diversified market. The Construction Technologies portfolio is already one of the most comprehensive available today, covering everything from pneumatic tools, attachments and compressors right through to much larger road pavers and soil and asphalt compactors.
For the specialist road-building and road-maintenance contractors targeted by Construction Technologies, Bauma 2007 provides the platform for Ingersoll Rand's re-entry into the milling market with a new range of milling machines; alongside new compaction products and the very latest Titan wheeled paver technology.
At Bauma 2007, the expansion in the attachments business can be seen with the addition of the newly acquired Geith line of heavy attachments, the unveiling of new Ingersoll Rand compact and heavy machine attachments; and significant developments in the Ingersoll Rand range of demolition and recycling attachments including the renowned Montabert line.
Another expansion in the European-market product offering from Construction Technologies will take place at Bauma with the addition of earthmoving and excavation equipment to the existing lines of portable power equipment and light compaction.
The wide array of new equipment solutions from Ingersoll Rand Construction Technologies is being shown at Bauma in the open-air area on stand No. 910.
