Richard Enners has been named president of Vogele America Inc., Chambersburg, Pa.
Vogele America Inc., a unit of Wirtgen Group, manufactures and markets U.S.-designed asphalt pavers and screeds from its ultramodern factor in Chambersburg.
In 2004, under Enners direction, paver tractor and screed improvements will be introduced by Vogele America.
"Our pavers are generating intense customer loyalty and we are responding with major improvements in the Chambersburg, Pa., screed assembly line which will increase manufacturing throughput," Enners said.
Enners joined Wirtgen Group in 2000 as senior vice president, Hamm Compaction Division for North America. He retains that responsibility while expanding his involvement with Vogele America.
His experience includes work with Ingersoll-Rand Co. in a variety of responsibilities, including president of its Japan subsidiary, general manager of its Japanese manufacturing facility, marketing manager for Latin America, Asia and the Pacific and business manager, consumable products.
