Huntertown, Ind.-based Asphalt Drum Mixers (ADM) recently announced the retirement of company President Nevin Dieffenbach at the end of March and the promotion of Mike Devine to president.

Dieffenbach joined ADM in 1993 as manufacturing manager and was promoted to president two years later. He played a key role in ADM's pioneering efforts into dual-drum, counterflow technology with the Milemaker, a low-emission, high-quality mix asphalt plant. Prior to joining ADM, Dieffenbach served as general manager for Herman Grant and spent nearly 16 years at Hauck Manufacturing.

Prior to his promotion, Devine served as vice president since 2000, with strategic and operations responsibilities in sales and marketing, manufacturing and personnel. He also has played a key role in ADM's ConExpo-Con/Agg planning and execution.

"Nevin (Dieffenbach) has done an outstanding job of advancing ADM's market position over the last 10 years and he'll be sorely missed by everyone," said Devine. "My goal is to leverage that success and our core strengths in the areas of technical resources, manufacturing and field support to increase the value package that ADM offers asphalt producers around the world."
