No. 7 - Winona Bridge

Jan. 4, 2015

As Minnesota’s first CMGC project, the Winona Bridge features a 450-ft main span over a commercial navagational channel. Carrying southbound TH 43 traffic over the Mississippi River, the new bridge, which replaces a two-lane truss structure that sits on the National Register of Historic Places, will more than double capacity and connect the community of Winona with counties in Wisconsin, bolstering interstate commerce. A deck-level sidewalk, lit by LED accents, will provide pedestrain access across the river and serve as a riverview overlook for residents and tourists alike.
