The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has released a full list of upcoming detours and road closures as work continues on road and bridge repairs throughout the Northeast part of the state.
ODOT specifically released a list of upcoming detours for Cuyahoga County and other areas of Greater Cleveland. See the latest updates below:
Cuyahoga County
Interstate 480 between Brookpark Road and Broadview Road: There will be various lane restrictions beginning Wednesday and continuing through October for barrier wall and drainage improvements.
Ohio 237 between Baker Street and Bagley Road: It will be reduced to one lane in each direction beginning Wednesday and continuing through October for resurfacing.
I-480 eastbound and westbound between Rocky River Drive and just east of West 150th Street: There will be various off-peak lane restrictions for overhead bridge repairs beginning April 15 and continuing through mid-April.
I-480 westbound over Northfield Road: There will be various lane restrictions beginning April 15 through April 19
I-271 between Emery Road to Fairmount Road: There will be various off-peak lane restrictions and ramp closures beginning April 15 and continuing through September 2024 for resurfacing.
Conte Drive at Carol Jean Boulevard: Conte Drive will be closed beginningTuesday through late April for resurfacing.
U.S. 422 westbound over Richmond Road: There will be various lane restrictions beginning April 15 through April 19 for bridge repairs.
U.S. 422 westbound over Miles Road: There will be various lane restrictions beginning on April 15 April 19 for bridge repairs.
Lake County
I-90 between Ohio 84 and I-271: There will be various off-peak lane restrictions beginning Tuesday through September for guardrail replacement.
Ohio 640 (Vine Street) between Willowick Drive and Ohio 283 (Lakeshore Boulevard): There will be reduced to one lane in each direction through November 2024 for resurfacing.
Mantel Road over Ohio 2: Mantel Road will be closed beginning April 22 through mid-August for bridge replacement. The detour is U.S. 20 to Ohio 535.
Summit County
Ohio 8/I-77 southbound at the Central Interchange will be closed nightly between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. beginning Wednesday and continuing through April 12. The detour is I-76 westbound to I-76/Kenmore leg to I-277 eastbound to I-77.
The ramp from I-77 southbound to Ohio 764/Wilbeth Road will be closed at 5 a.m. April 11 through mid-June. The detour will be I-77 southbound to Waterloo Road to Allendale Road to Wilbeth Road.
Ohio 59 between Ohio 8 and the Portage County line will have various lane restrictions beginning April 15 through late August 2024.
