April 14, 2023
Ryan Curtiss and Kevin Shelton discuss National Work Zone Awareness Week, the impact it has on roadway safety, and how individuals and companies can get involved.

The American Traffic Safety Services (ATSS) Foundation exists to promote roadway safety through charitable giving and public awareness programs. National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW) is a great time to share the importance of making roadway safety a cultural priority to move Toward Zero Deaths on our nation’s roadways.

Struck-by injuries are a leading cause of death, and since 1992 the leading cause of nonfatal injuries, in the construction industry.

In this QuickChat, Kevin Shelton, chair of ATSS Foundation, discusses how NWZAW and The Foundation’s work are bringing us all closer to the goal of Toward Zero Deaths. Tune in to learn how individuals and companies can get involved.
