Transportation agencies are constantly striving to streamline the project delivery process. The handoff from design to construction management, and the transition to digital as-builts for use in asset management are key areas for improvement. This process, known as “digital project delivery,” requires better integration of data and technologies throughout the entire infrastructure lifecycle.

Speakers
Terry Bills is the Transportation Industry Director at Esri. He has over 30 years’ experience in transportation planning and policy, information technology and GIS. Terry has been with Esri for 19 years, where he provides subject matter expertise and thought leadership in transportation.
Gary has been in the Geographic Information System (GIS) and Information Technology (IT) industries in various positions for almost 40 years. His early career was spent working as a programmer and systems analyst for two city government IT departments. From there he moved to Esri where he has worked in virtually every business sector to help people implement GIS-based solutions. Focus areas have included addressing, parcel management, property assessment, electric, gas and communications utilities, public safety, emergency management and State and Federal transportation. Gary is currently the team lead for transportation in the State and Local Government business unit at Esri. This role is responsible for Esri’s business strategy in public transit and state and local road agencies. He has spent more than 50% of his time working with the 50 State DOTs over the last decade.
