Summary
This webinar will provide a state-of-the-art review of the use of a Moisture Management Geosynthetic (MMG) for enhancing pavement performance and resiliency. The presentation will focus on the benefits of MMG in extending pavement longevity through three main actions; Moisture Management; Redistribution and Filtration; and Mechanical Actions. Characterization of MMG and MMG-treated pavements will be discussed at both laboratory and field scales, along with best practices for field installation.
Attendees will gain insights based on a comprehensive review of over 30 laboratory, field and modeling studies, of the following:
- Proven performance improvements in pavements treated with MMG.
- Benefits of using an MMG in roadway applications.
- Selection criteria and installation considerations.
