North Dakota DOT Asks for Transportation Ideas

Oct. 29, 2024
Submissions are due by Dec. 31

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is looking for innovative transportation projects, processes and products through its Transportation Innovation Program (TRIP).

NDDOT is inviting all transportation-based contractors, consultants, suppliers, associations, tribes and local jurisdictions to submit ideas.

“We are looking for ideas that are in the deployment and operational stage,” said Russ Buchholz, NDDOT innovation and facilities manager. “This will allow us to make informed decisions and implement selected ideas quickly.”

TRIP ideas will address areas such as bridges, structures, construction, operations roadway surfacing and more.

The NDDOT TRIP Review Team will evaluate submissions and make recommendations to the NDDOT Executive Team.

The deadline to submit ideas is Dec. 31.

TRIP is an annual program sponsored by NDDOT with funding assistance through the Federal Highway Administration.
