Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas welcomes J.Y. Kim as president
November 2020—Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas Inc. welcomes J.Y. Kim as President. The 28-year Hyundai veteran began his career as part of an overseas sales team to support North American Operations, and later worked at HCEA’s Chicago office from 2004 to 2008. He was instrumental in establishing a foundation for a CE Brazilian factory and sales company before managing operations for Indian manufacturing, sales & marketing. During his tenure in India he brought Hyundai’s market share to 19%. After his two major overseas stays, he worked with emerging countries that include Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, and many Southeast Asian countries.

Brown and Caldwell welcomes new head of diversity and inclusion
Nov. 10, 2020—Leading environmental engineering and construction firm Brown and Caldwell today announces Andrea Hall has joined the company as senior director of diversity and inclusion. Hall brings a 17-year track record of creating and leading company-wide diversity and inclusion strategy and strengthening equitable processes for global organizations. Her experience includes improving diverse talent hiring, launching employee empowerment platforms, enhancing career progression policies, developing solutions to interrupt process and procedural bias, and driving diversity and inclusion education and awareness.
As senior director of diversity and inclusion, Hall will be responsible for identifying and implementing programs to maintain and promote Brown and Caldwell’s culture of belonging, diversity, and inclusion. Additionally, she will enhance current diversity and inclusion initiatives as the foundation of its recruitment, retention, and professional advancement practices.
