"Our team is currently executing the new Calgary Ring Road, which was awarded to the same partners back in February 2007," says Matt Girard, Flatiron's vice president of business development. "We're looking forward to another successful partnership with the Alberta government and this P3 team."

The new 13-mile north portion of the ring road will extend from Anthony Henday Drive at Yellowhead Trail on the west side of Edmonton to Manning Drive Freeway in the north. It will be a two- and three-lane road with 27 bridge structures and eight interchanges. This is the third portion of the ring road to be commissioned by the Alberta government. Construction will begin in August 2008 and will be completed by November 2011.
