The National Asphalt Pavement Association is sponsoring a series of regional Porous Asphalt Pavement Seminars.
Porous asphalt pavements are attracting attention because of the role they can play in sustainable site design and storm water management. This emerging technology is of interest to public works officials, consulting engineers, land developers, contractors, environmental engineers and others with an interest in minimizing the impact of development on the environment. These seminars will explore every aspect of porous pavements, from site evaluation through construction to maintenance.
Dates and locations of the seminars are as follows:
* Nov. 1–Atlanta, Ga., Atlanta Marriott Airport;
* Nov. 3–Kansas City, Kan., Radisson Hotel Lenexa-Overland Park, Kan.;
* Nov. 5–Los Angeles, Calif., Renaissance Hotel Los Angeles Airport; and
